The Western Galilee region possesses unique assets of multiculturalism in the field of tourism, a field that constitutes a significant growth engine. About a third of the tourism activities in Israel arrive from the northern region. The “Treasures of the Galilee” Project came into being as a unique, transparent and reliable platform which examines tourism entrepreneurs and tourist sites and recommends businesses that provide a good and fair tourist experience. Since the day of its establishment, the Project’s team has assisted hundreds of tourism businesses that pertain to this Project and thousands of organized groups from Israel and from abroad, to get acquainted with the Western Galilee. This is a unique and multicultural geographic region, that spans between mountains and the sea, in which people of different nations live peacefully and with mutual respect, and this provides an exceptional and enriching hospitality experience. The Project constitutes a significant growth engine for a region possessing unique assets that continues growing constantly. Our activities have drawn additional entities to invest in tourism businesses in the region and have made it well-known and popular.
